Just checked mapquest. Moab, UT is 13 hours from Norfolk and 13 hours from Sacramento. Could we get more central for our next mini reunion? Are we going to persue this adventure? If we plan far enough ahead, maybe Randy and Jerry can join us. Just something to think about.

I just heard the news that Decatur received $250,00 grant to renovate a community center. I thought maybe I'd look into having it someplace in Decatur - maybe draw more people than just Thornton's grandkids. We had our best turnout when we had it at Elm Creek School. We could also maybe charter a riverboat? I am FULL of ideas!
Decatur sounds good to me. Not so far to drive.

Moab sounds good and it does seem to be in the middle.
I have a plan to go to Alaska next year if I cna figure out when and how and with whom.
For the larger reunion:
I think having the pool and paddle boats or some similar entertainment is important. What's to do in Decatur?
