Another month almost gone. Really feels fallish this morning.
I gained back the 1.4 I lost last week. It looks like I have been able to maintain for awhile. Now, if I could just figure out how to lose.
We are taking a little golf weekend. Leaving tomorrow to go to Ogallala, Gothenburg and Kearney to play. It is called the Western Swing, a package deal for 3 days golf and 2 motels. This trip we are letting the guys go with us. :)

I finally had a loss 1.4 lbs.
There was a thank you note from Betty & Lynn in the Lyons paper with a site you can check on Travis -caringbridge.org then type in "rude".
In case you hadn't heard Travis was involved in a construction accident that left him paralyzed. I don't know how extensive, but he will be in Colorado for rehab.
Have been enjoying some of the Olympic events the past two weeks. Right now the BB team is playing Argentina. Guess I will get a cup of coffee and watch it.

Three days of golfing, shopping and eating only netted a .6 lb gain.
Shirley, thanks for the bed and shower for 2 nights. Have a safe trip to California.
Donna & I netted 10th place in the partner portion of the tournament. Prize money is in the form of gift certificates to the pro shop. I got enough back to buy a box of balls. I didn't do very well in the individual part of the tourney. Donna got second in her flight. The course was really hard with sand traps like you see on the
PGA/LPGA tours on TV.
Summer is winding down. Kids are going back to school. Even as hot as it has been, I don't look forward to winter.

Only once a year do we get to write a date like 888.
I gained .2 this week. Only got in a couple of nights of exercise. I really notice the difference because it seems harder to go the distance.
Joe & Angie went to Sturgis for a few days. Jacob went to Windsor, Co. Abby just got back from Europe. Cindy, Jaydee and Kendra to Ariz & Portland. Myrna & PJ are in Alaska. Lots of people travelling. My friend Donna and I are going all the way to Omaha Mon-Weds to play in a golf tournament.
We could really use some rain in this area. Running the sprinklers just isn't the same as rain.

Up only .4 this week.
Not much going on this week. The computer classes were informative. The class I was to take Thursday was cancelled. This was the one I really needed. The instructor said she would send me the handouts that pretty much cover what she would be teaching.
To all that are travelling the next couple of weeks -- Have a safe and fun trip.
